The Uni-T UT256 is a modern, compact clamp-type meter designed for precise measurements of direct and alternating current in electrical installations. With True RMS, it delivers accurate results even with distorted current waveforms, and the spade-type design allows for easy measurement of larger diameter wires.
The UT256 meter allows you to measure:
- Direct and alternating current (DC/AC) in the range from 0 to 60 A,
- Direct and alternating voltage (DC/AC) in the range from 0 to 600 V,
- Resistance in the range from 0 to 60 kΩ,
- Continuity of the circuit with a sound signal in the range of 0 – 60 kΩ,
- Frequencies in the range of 0 – 60 Hz.
Thanks to this, the UT256 will be suitable for both measurements of electrical installations and diagnostics of electronic devices.
Additional functions
- True RMS – precise measurements with irregular current waveforms,
- Non-contact voltage detection (NCV) – quick identification of the presence of voltage,
- HOLD – stopping the current reading,
- REL/ZERO – relative measurement and value zeroing,
- Display backlight – easy reading in dark places,
- Audible and visual alarm – signaling of voltage detection,
- Auto shut-off – saves battery after 30 minutes.
