Smart charging to maximize battery life
It intelligently detects battery types and automatically selects the optimal charging method, then automatically adjusts the best charging current based on the power of the adapter and the condition of the battery.

3 stage Li-ion battery charging method: TC/CC/CV
- TC phase: cells discharged below 2.75V are 'woken up' by a lower current.
- CC phase: when 2.75V is reached, the cell is charged with the target charging current
- CV phase: when the cell is almost charged, the charger switches to decreasing current charging until the voltage of 4.2V is reached across the cell. When 4.2V is reached
Charging batteries using the CVSA method
- charging batteries while maintaining a lower temperature

The VX2 Pro is the first charger to support 1.5V lithium-ion battery storage – intelligently adjusting cells to the optimal voltage to reduce self-discharge, slow aging and extend battery life.

Refresh – bring old Ni-MH batteries back to life
The capacity and performance of Ni-MH batteries decreases over time. The refresh function helps them reach the maximum possible capacity.
➤ Suitable for older or frequently used batteries. Intelligently adjusts discharge and charge cycles based on the condition of the battery.
* Only for Ni-MH batteries, other batteries will be automatically charged under this function.

Discharge the battery to the cut-off voltage for quick capacity check and optimal maintenance.
* When the discharge process is complete, you need to set
charging function to prevent the battery from being over-discharged.

Internal Resistance Measurement
Displays the internal resistance of each cell – giving you a deeper view of the battery's health. This feature is very useful when using batteries in devices with high current consumption. Resistance measurement is also useful when the device uses multiple batteries at the same time.

Reactivation of low voltage accumulators
XTAR's low-current activation allows excessively discharged cells to be brought back to life safely and effectively.

USB-C input with fast charging
For fast charging with a maximum current of 3A, we recommend using the XTAR PD 20W power adapter and the original cable.


Memory after power off
VX2 Pro Retains mode and function settings after a power outage until they are changed.
The VX2 Pro charger intelligently remembers LiFePO4 mode settings. Even after a power outage or accidental disconnection, it automatically returns to LiFePO4 mode when power is restored, eliminating the risk of inappropriate charging parameters that could damage your valuable LiFePO4 batteries.
