The Xtar BC4 charger features an advanced processor that can distinguish the type of battery installed in it. This allows us to charge any 1.5V Li-ion or Ni-Mh battery in each charger slot. The refined charging algorithm ensures that the battery is always charged to full and in an optimal, safe manner for the specific cell chemistry.
The BC4 is equipped with a white LED, allowing us to use the charger as a portable flashlight when needed. To use this function, batteries must be installed in the charger. Activating the flashlight mode in the BC4 is incredibly simple - just hold the button located on the side of the charger for 2 seconds!
Compact size and the cover of the charging compartment are two quite important advantages of the BC4 charger. By combining these two features, we get a mobile charger with power bank and flashlight functions. Additionally, a strap is included in the package to facilitate its transport.
The Xtar BC4 charger can also serve as a power bank. It has a USB output of 5V 2A, which can emergency charge devices like smartphones, MP players, etc. The capacity of the power bank depends on the cells placed in it. Importantly, the USB output can be used even with alkaline batteries. However, it is recommended to use Ni-MH / Li-ion 1.5V batteries.
NOTE!
In power bank mode (discharging), it is best to use batteries from the same manufacturer / capacity and charge state.
