Li-ion and LiFePO4 batteries are charged very precisely using the CC/CV method with a termination level of about 75 mA. This guarantees complete safety and full charging of each battery, even if it is heavily degraded or has a low capacity.
Ni-MH batteries are charged using the CC (constant current) method with very precise dV / PVD detection - charging is only completed after reaching the maximum voltage on the battery (the value of this voltage may vary for each battery).

The UC4000 charger focuses on maximum user convenience - the charger is extremely user-friendly and easy to operate.
An extraordinary compromise has been achieved - the charger features "only" 2 basic function buttons and 2 operating modes. Thoughtful operating modes make it so that despite these apparent limitations, the charger has practically the same, if not greater capabilities as models offering 4 separate operating modes.

The charger allows charging and testing 1-4 pieces of lithium-ion, lithium iron phosphate, and nickel-metal hydride batteries in various sizes:
R6 AA, R03 AAA, R14 C (max. 2 pcs.), R20 D (max. 2 pcs.), 10440, 14500, 14650, 17500, 17670, 18350, 18500, 18650, 20700, 21700 - only unprotected, 22650, 25500 (max. 2 pcs.), 26500 (max. 2 pcs.), 26650 (max. 2 pcs.), 32650 (max. 2 pcs.), 33600 (max. 2 pcs.), 16340 R-CR123e.

The charger will handle any other cylindrical battery with a length of 32-71 mm and a maximum diameter of 33 mm.
All operating parameters can be viewed on an extremely readable, large, backlit LCD display.
The charger has a dual input voltage: 12V DC and 100-240V AC - the charger has an integrated power supply - the package includes a power cable, car adapter available separately.
