The batteries are also equipped with discharge indication. When the cell is close to depletion, the built-in converter lowers the voltage to about 1.1V, signaling the need to recharge the battery.
The used Li-ion cells are characterized by the absence of the memory effect, allowing them to be recharged at any time. The manufacturer also declares over 1200 cycles of charging and discharging. The maximum recommended discharge current is 2A.
